It is written, the lord will not do anything on earth except he first reveal it to his servants.
Any time God wants to do something on earth, he moves a man to pray about it. Our God is a just God, he has given the earth to the children of men and he will not enforce his will on earth except there is a man to declare it.
He told Ezekiel, can these bones live again, Ezekiel said, ‘thou knows’….yet God did not just tell the bones to live again…he told Ezekiel ‘Prophesy!’
That is still the order of things. The scripture said ‘God has spoken, who will not prophesy’.
It is our duty as sons of God to discover what God’s will is on earth through his word and declare it.
He said whatever we decree, it shall come to pass.
Effective praying is knowing what is in Heaven i.e. what is written concerning a thing in heaven and enforcing it through prayer on earth…thy will be done on earth as it is recorded in heaven.
So there cannot be effective prayer without proper understanding of the word of God.
Imagine prayer as a court room
God is the Judge
The devil is the accuser of the brethren
Jesus is the mediator (his blood speaks)
And you are the accused.
The devil always bring railing accusation against the you as a believer about why good things should not come to you and the opposite should be enforced.
Jesus always intercedes and plead on our behalf. He says to the father, that the devil lies.
Our God being a just God can only give the judgment based on the testimony of the accused.
If the accused who is a believer doesn’t understand the Word and what Christ has done, he will agree with the facts the devil presents which are all lies in accordance with what Christ has accomplished for us.
Once the accused agree with the devil, God has no choice than to rule in the devil’s favor against the believer.
Yes….we indeed overcame by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.
For by your words you shall be justified and by your words you shall be condemned.
It is therefore of utmost importance for every believer to search out and understand what the scripture says about a matter…then pray in line with that and agree with what the blood of Jesus speaks.
When Jesus was tempted, he being our example declared only that which was written and he overcame.
Find out that which has been written, know it, understand it and declare it.
The scriptures cannot be broken.
